Family Fund
Many families are able to manage financially on a monthly basis by covering their necessary expenses, but during the holiday seasons, or if an unfortunate circumstance arises, they are unable to cope with these additional costs. The Family Fund helps these families celebrate the holidays joyfully, and assures that their children too have smiles on their faces. Families also have the assurance that incase of a crisis there is somewhere they can turn for financial support.
Holidays:
For Holiday meals (such as the Passover Seder or Rosh Hashana Dinner), we supply Gift cards to grocery stores where they can purchase their necessities.
Clothing:
Every child should be able to attend synagogue in a suit that fits or a dress that they are proud to wear. Each child should be able to smile, regardless of their family’s financial situation. For this too we provide twice yearly gift cards at a clothing store. This support can also be used to purchase other necessities such as a winter coat or summer wardrobe.
Crisis Fund:
Special money is allocated in case a crisis arises and a family is in need of temporary financial relief.
